Temporary authority for new mortgage loan originators

This section gives a person temporary permission to work as a mortgage loan originator in Hawaii while they are working toward getting a full license. This temporary permission only applies if they meet the rules in this part and expect to meet all licensing requirements.

The statute, as written — Employment transition of loan originators

In anticipation of satisfying all licensure requirements set out in part I, an individual shall be deemed to have temporary authority to act as a mortgage loan originator in this State as provided by and subject to the requirements of this part.
