Keeping records of optometry exam applications

The state's consumer affairs department must keep records of everyone who applies to take the optometry exam. The records must show if each applicant was approved or turned down, and why if they were turned down.

The department of commerce and consumer affairs on behalf of the Hawaii board of optometry shall preserve a record of all applications for examination. The record shall also show whether applicants were rejected or licensed, and, if rejected, the reasons therefor.
