Counties can give or sell extra property to the state or other counties

This section lets any county give, sell, or transfer its extra personal property to the state or to another county in Hawaii. It overrides any other law that might say otherwise. This is a simple rule about sharing surplus items between government bodies.

Any other law to the contrary notwithstanding, any county may give, sell, or transfer any of its surplus personal property to the State or to any county within the State.
