Prescription records

A pharmacy must keep records of every prescription it makes or gives out for at least five years. These records must always be available for the board of pharmacy and law enforcement to look at.

A pharmacy shall keep prescription records of each prescription compounded or dispensed at the pharmacy for a period of not less than five years. The prescription records shall at all times be open to inspection by the board of pharmacy and other law enforcement officers.
