Getting and showing your psychology license

After the board sends your name to the director and you pay the fee, the director must give you a license to practice psychology for two years. You must display that license where clients can easily see it at your main office.

[Section effective until June 30, 2026. For section effective July 1, 2026, see below.] Upon the board forwarding to the director the name of each applicant who is entitled to a license under this chapter and upon receipt of the prescribed fee, the director shall promptly issue to each applicant a license authorizing the applicant to engage in the practice of psychology for a period of two years. The license shall be in the form as the director shall determine. A licensed psychologist shall display the license in a conspicuous place in the psychologist's principal place of business.
