If you are harmed and you do not follow the rules in this chapter about the real estate recovery fund, you give up any rights you had under it. This section is a warning that you must follow the procedures to keep your rights.

The failure of an aggrieved person to comply with this chapter relating to the real estate recovery fund shall constitute a waiver of any rights hereunder.
