Who can investigate possible veterinary law violations

The Hawaii board of veterinary medicine, its members, or people they choose can look into any possible violation of the veterinary law. Board members can also give oaths during these investigations.

The statute, as written — Power to investigate

The Hawaii board of veterinary medicine or any member thereof, or any person designated by the board for the purpose, may investigate any violation or suspected violation of this chapter. Each member of the board may administer oaths in connection with any such investigation.
