Conflicts with federal door-to-door sales law

This section says that contracts under this law do not have to include terms that directly conflict with federal door-to-door sales rules. A term is okay if it gives you more protection than federal law, even if it differs.

The statute, as written — Inconsistencies with federal laws

No contract shall be required by this chapter to contain provisions which are directly inconsistent with the federal laws relating to door-to-door sales. A provision under this chapter is not directly inconsistent with the federal laws relating to door-to-door sales, if it provides greater protection to the consumer.
