As used in this chapter: "340B covered entity" means an entity that participates in the federal 340B drug pricing program authorized by title 42 United States Code section 256b (section 340B of the Public Health Service Act). "340B drug" means a prescription drug that is purchased by a 340B covered entity through the federal 340B drug pricing program authorized by title 42 United States Code section 256b (section 340B of the Public Health Service Act) and is dispensed by a pharmacy. "Contract pharmacy" means a pharmacy with which a 340B covered entity has contracted to dispense 340B drugs on behalf of the 340B covered entity to patients of the 340B covered entity, whether distributed in person, via mail, or by other means. "Covered entity" has the same meaning as defined in title 42 United States Code section 256b(a)(4). "Manufacturer" has the same meaning as defined in section 328-112. "Pharmacy" has the same meaning as defined in section 461-1.
