Consumers can cancel contracts from illegal telemarketing

If a telemarketer breaks the law in this chapter, you can cancel the contract for any reason, at any time. The contract cannot be enforced against you, and the debt cannot be reported to a credit bureau.

The statute, as written — Contracts voidable

A contract or agreement made as a result of telemarketing activity that violates this chapter is voidable by the consumer for any reason at any time and shall not be enforced against the consumer and any debt arising therefrom shall not be reported to a credit reporting agency.
