Accepting out-of-state weighing and measuring certificates

This section lets the board accept certificates from another state if that state also accepts Hawaii's certificates. It only applies when the other state has a similar rule. This is about working together with other states.

The statute, as written — Reciprocal acceptance of certificates

Whenever in any other state that licenses public weighmasters or measuremasters there is statutory authority for the recognition and acceptance of the certificates issued by measuremasters of this State, the board is authorized to recognize and accept the certificates of that state.
