Working with other agencies to keep rules consistent

This section lets the board team up with other government agencies, like state, county, or federal ones, to carry out this law and make rules as consistent as possible with federal rules. It is a permission for cooperation, not a set of specific duties.

The board may cooperate and enter into agreements with any state or county agency, federal or other state or county agency with similar statutory functions for the purpose of carrying out the respective parts of this chapter and to establish uniformity, to the extent that it is reasonably possible, with federal enactments or regulations consistent with the respective parts of this chapter.
