HRS §490:13-201
Old transactions stay valid after this law takes effect
This section says that if a transaction was validly made before this law took effect, it stays valid. The rights, duties, and interests from that transaction continue to exist. They can be finished or enforced under other laws, or under this law if it applies, as if the new law had not happened.
