Other promises tied to a sale contract still have their own remedies

This section says that if someone breaks a promise that is separate from but related to a sales contract, the usual legal remedies for that broken promise still apply. This article does not take away those remedies.

Remedies for breach of any obligation or promise collateral or ancillary to a contract for sale are not impaired by the provisions of this article.
