HRS §490:9-512How to change a filed financing statement
This section explains how to amend a financing statement. You can add or remove collateral, extend or end its effectiveness, or change other information by filing an amendment. The amendment must identify the original statement and, in some cases, provide certain information. Filing an amendment does not extend the statement's effectiveness unless another rule says so.
