HRS §490:9-806

How an old financing statement stays effective after the law change

This section explains how a financing statement filed before July 1, 2013, in another state can stay effective in Hawaii. You must file a new initial financing statement in the correct Hawaii office before that date, and it must meet certain requirements. The new filing keeps the old one effective for the usual period.
