Charter commission organization and procedures

This section says the charter commission must meet within fifteen days of appointment, make its own rules, and needs a majority of members to make decisions. It does not have to follow the state's regular administrative procedures.

The statute, as written — Commission organization and procedures

No later than fifteen days after its members are appointed, the charter commission shall organize and hold its first meeting and shall adopt such rules and regulations for the conduct of its business as it deems necessary and desirable. Chapter 91 shall not be applicable hereto. The majority of the members of the commission shall constitute a quorum for the transaction of business.
