Time limits for the State to take legal action

The State cannot start a civil or criminal case under this law more than two years after it finds out the facts, or more than ten years after the sale is completed, whichever comes first.

No civil or criminal actions shall be brought by the State pursuant to this chapter more than two years after the discovery of the facts upon which the actions are based or ten years after completion of the sales transaction involved, whichever has first occurred.
