Corporation's powers for acquisition loan programs

This section gives the corporation the power to make contracts and agreements needed to run its acquisition loan programs. It can also require borrowers to make promises and guarantees to protect its loans.

The statute, as written — Acquisition loan programs; general powers

(a) The corporation may make, enter into, and enforce all contracts or agreements which are necessary, convenient, or desirable for the purposes of the performance of its duties in executing the acquisition loan programs. (b) The corporation may require representations and warranties as it determines necessary to secure its loans.
