Police commission

Each county has its own police commission. The county charter decides who is on it, how they are chosen, how long they serve, and what they can do. This section only sets up the commissions and leaves the details to each county's rules.

A police commission is created for each of the counties. The composition, appointment, terms of office, staff, powers, duties, and functions of each police commission shall be prescribed by the charter of each county.
