How a redevelopment agency can invest its extra money

This section lets a redevelopment agency invest money it does not need right away. The investments must be legal under state rules for trust fund investments. It only covers what types of investments are allowed.

The statute, as written — Investment of funds

A redevelopment agency may invest any of its funds not required for immediate disbursement in securities which constitute legal investments under state laws relating to investment of trust funds by trust companies, including those authorized by article 8 of chapter 412.
