Powers and duties of a replacement estate representative

A replacement person in charge of an estate has the same authority and responsibilities as the original one to finish managing and giving out the estate's property quickly. However, they cannot use any power that the will specifically gave only to the original person named.

A successor personal representative has the same power and duty as the original personal representative to complete the administration and distribution of the estate, as expeditiously as possible, but the successor personal representative shall not exercise any power expressly made personal to the executor named in the will.
