Confirmed order

Once a child support order from another state is registered in Hawaii and confirmed, you can no longer challenge it on any issue you could have raised when it was registered. This applies whether confirmation happened automatically or after a hearing.

Confirmation of a registered support order, whether by operation of law or after notice and hearing, precludes further contest of the order with respect to any matter that could have been asserted at the time of registration.
