Social security numbers in divorce and support records

This section requires that the social security number of anyone involved in a divorce or support order be kept in the court records for that case. It is a narrow record-keeping rule.

The social security number of any individual who is party to a divorce decree or subject to a support order issued under this chapter shall be placed in the records relating to the matter.
