Supreme court oversight of lower courts

The state's highest court watches over all lower courts to fix mistakes and unfair actions, but only when no other legal fix exists. This section gives the supreme court general authority to correct problems in those courts.

The supreme court shall have the general superintendence of all courts of inferior jurisdiction to prevent and correct errors and abuses therein where no other remedy is expressly provided by law.
