This law wins when other laws conflict

If another law or court rule disagrees with this chapter, this chapter controls, unless this chapter or the other law says something different. This section only settles which rule to follow when there is a conflict.

The statute, as written — Inconsistent laws

If any other provision of law, including any rule promulgated by the supreme court, is inconsistent with this chapter, this chapter shall govern unless this chapter or such inconsistent provision of law specifically provides otherwise.
