This law applies to all state courts

This section says that the rules in this chapter apply to every common-law court in Hawaii, as long as the court has the authority to handle the matter. It makes the law uniform across all such courts.

This chapter and the powers conferred therein shall extend to all the common-law courts of the State, according to their jurisdiction.
