State won't pay your legal costs in these cases

This section says the State does not have to pay for your legal expenses, including lawyer fees, if you sue it under this part. The State also cannot choose to pay those costs. So you must cover your own legal bills.

The State shall not be liable for expenses or fees, including attorney fees, that a person incurs in bringing an action under this part and shall not elect to pay those expenses or fees.
