Who pays the costs in a boundary case

This section says the boundary commissioner decides who pays the costs in a boundary case. The commissioner can make one side pay all, or split the costs between both sides, based on what is fair. The decision can be appealed.

The costs in each case shall be borne by the petitioner or respondent, or shall be apportioned between them, as equity and justice may require, in the judgment of the commissioner of boundaries, subject to appeal as in this part provided.
