HRS §801D-7
Testifying by video from another location
This section gives crime victims and witnesses the right to testify at trial using two-way closed-circuit video. The judge, the accused person, and the jury or fact-finder will watch the testimony on a screen. This applies only to testifying at trial, not to other court proceedings.
The statute, as written — Televised testimony
Victims and witnesses shall have the right to testify at trial by televised two-way closed circuit video to be viewed by the court, the accused, and the trier of fact.
