Protection for officials acting in good faith

Police departments, their workers, and state or county officials cannot be sued for doing their jobs in good faith under this law. This means they are protected from legal claims if they acted honestly and without bad intent.

Law enforcement agencies, employees of law enforcement agencies, and state and county officials shall be immune from liability for good faith conduct under this chapter.
