Maximum retirement pay for service-connected disability

This section sets the highest retirement allowance for a member who qualifies for a service-connected disability retirement under another law. That maximum is 35% of the member's average final compensation. It does not change any other rules about who qualifies.

A member who would be eligible to receive a service-connected disability retirement allowance pursuant to section 88-79 shall receive a maximum retirement allowance of thirty-five per cent of the member's average final compensation.
