Actuary's role as technical adviser

The actuary gives technical advice to the board of trustees about how the retirement funds work and does other related tasks. This section only defines the actuary's job.

The actuary shall be the technical adviser of the board of trustees on the matters regarding the operation of the funds of the system and shall perform such other duties as are required in connection therewith.
