Commission meeting rules and attendance requirements

The commission must meet at least four times a year. Members who miss more than a quarter of the meetings in a year will be removed. A majority of voting members must be present to make decisions, and all meetings follow the state's open meeting law.

The statute, as written — Meetings

The commission shall meet at least quarterly. Failure to attend at least seventy-five per cent of called meetings in any calendar year shall result in removal from the commission. A quorum shall consist of a simple majority of voting members. All meetings of the commission shall be conducted subject to chapter 92.
