HRS §92-26

State departments do not pay each other for records

This section says that one state department does not have to pay another state department for preparing or certifying a government record. It also clarifies that this law does not change or cancel another law about records.

The statute, as written — Fees; exemption

One department of the state government shall not be required to pay any fee to any other department of the state government for the preparation and certification by the latter of any government record, nor shall section 92-21 be held to amend or repeal section 94-4.
