Giving free copies of laws and court reports to libraries

This section allows the state to give free copies of the Hawaii Revised Statutes and Hawaii court reports to certain libraries, like those at schools, historical groups, or public institutions. It is separate from selling or exchanging copies. The section only covers giving copies to libraries.

In addition to the copies of Hawaii Revised Statutes and Hawaii reports that may be disposed of by sale, exchange, or presentation to public officers for official use, copies of each volume may be presented to libraries of educational, historical, or scientific institutions or other libraries of a public or quasi-public nature in the State and elsewhere.
