Keeping exam records until after the legislative session

Boards and commissions that give exams must keep all records from each exam, like applications, questions, answers, and grades. They must keep these records until after the next legislative session ends. This rule applies to any board or commission that holds exams.

The statute, as written — Disposal of examination records

All statutory boards or commissions authorized or empowered to hold examinations for candidates or applicants shall preserve all records of each examination, including, without prejudice to the generality of the foregoing, applications, questions, answers, and grades, until after the end of the legislative session following the examination.
