Fines and cleanup for littering violations

A person found guilty must pay a fine up to $1,000, do up to 200 hours of community service, or both, and must clean up their litter or pay for its removal. Each day the violation continues counts as a separate offense.

(a) Any person who violates any provision of this article shall, upon conviction, be sentenced to pay of fine of not more than $1,000 and/or not more than 200 hours of community service or both for each offense and shall be required to remove their litter or shall be liable for the costs of removing that litter.
