Whenever used in this article, unless the context otherwise requires: “Board” means the fire board of appeals. “County fire code” means chapter 17, article 1, of this Code. “Fire chief” means the chief of the Hawai‘i fire department or the chief’s designated representative. “Fireworks code” means chapter 17, article 2, of this Code.
