Taxicab driver permits expire one year after they are issued. To renew, you must apply before the expiration date, pass a reexamination (unless waived), and provide new color photos. If your driver's license is suspended or revoked, you must surrender your taxicab permit to the finance director, who keeps it until the suspension ends.
