School bus identification markings

This section requires every school bus to have the words 'School Bus' painted on the front and rear. The lettering must be at least 8 inches tall and 3/4 inch wide, placed where the examiner of chauffeurs directs.

The words “School Bus” shall be painted on the front and rear of each vehicle used as a school bus in a place and color as the examiner of chauffeurs shall direct. The wordings shall be in letters of not less than eight inches in height and in strokes of not less than three-quarters inch in width. Division 3. Drivers and Bus Operations.
