Disposal permit required for solid waste

(a) Every business, government agency, religious entity or nonprofit organization shall first obtain a disposal permit issued by the director and make payment of the permit fee as required before disposing of solid waste at any SWD facility. (b) An application for a disposal permit shall be submitted to the director on a form furnished by the department. (c) The director may suspend or revoke a disposal permit, in accordance with department rules, for the following reasons: (1) Failure to pay any disposal charges or special handling fees when due. (2) Failure to comply with the provisions of this chapter. (3) Failure to comply with disposal procedures and/or conditions established by the department. (2020, ord 20-86, sec 3.) 20-03-02
