Creating the Solid Waste Fund and how it is used

This section creates a special county fund called the Solid Waste Fund. All fees collected under this chapter must be given to the finance director and used only for running, keeping up, and managing the county's trash and garbage systems.

(a) There is hereby created and established a special fund to be known as the “Solid Waste Fund.” (b) All funds received from the collection of fees authorized by this chapter shall be deposited with the director of finance and shall be accounted for and expended for the purpose of operating, maintaining, and administering the County’s solid waste management, collection, and disposal systems.
