Minimum lot sizes and their requirements

This section sets the minimum size for lots. The size must follow the county zoning code and be big enough for off-street parking and service areas. If there is no public sewer, the lot must also meet state health rules for sewage disposal and water supply.

(a) The minimum sizes of various types of lots shall be in conformance with the provision of chapter 25, zoning code, and shall be adequate to provide for the off- street service and parking facilities required by the type of use and development contemplated. (b) Where property will not be served by a public sewer, lot sizes for sewage disposal systems shall conform to the requirements of the State health department and shall take into consideration problems of water supply and sewage disposal.
