Widening streets when subdividing land

If you are dividing land into lots and the street next to or inside the property is too narrow, you must give extra land for the street to make it wide enough. This must be done when you file the subdivision.

When an existing street adjacent to or within a tract is not of the width required by this chapter additional rights-of-way shall be provided at the time of subdivision.
