What a preliminary land split map must show

This section lists what must be on a preliminary plat map when you propose to divide land. The map must show streets, easements, lots, and any non-housing sites. It is a checklist for the map, not a rule about how to divide land.

The preliminary plat plan shall include the following land partitioning information: (1) Streets showing location, widths, approximate radii or curves. The relationship of all streets to projected streets shown on the County general plan, which may be shown on a vicinity map; (2) Existing and proposed easements, showing width and purpose; (3) Lots, showing approximate dimensions, proposed lot size and proposed lot numbers; and (4) Sites, if any, allocated for purposes other than single-family dwellings, or farm dwellings.
