Rules for golf cart crossings near public roads

(a) Each golf cart crossing shall: (1) Be posted with a sign located not more than twenty feet from the public thoroughfare with lettering not less than three inches high and shall read: “Stop -- You Will Cross A Public Highway -- Proceed With Caution”; (2) Approach the public thoroughfare at right angle; and (3) Have sufficient sight distance in both directions of the public thoroughfare to permit the golf cart or golf course maintenance vehicle to cross with safety.
