No parking during certain hours on signed streets

This rule says you cannot stop, stand, or park on certain streets during the hours shown on official signs, except to quickly pick up or drop off people or goods. It applies on all days except Sundays and public holidays, unless the street is listed in a special schedule. The street areas are called 'parking prohibited during certain hours zones' when signs are posted.

(a) When official signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person shall stop, stand or park a vehicle any longer than is reasonably necessary to take on or discharge passengers or freight, upon any of the streets or portions thereof within the County, between the hours indicated on such signs, of any day, except Sundays and public holidays or as otherwise listed in schedule 29, section 24-281. (b) The areas of streets, described in schedule 29, section 24-281, are designated as “parking prohibited during certain hours zones” when appropriate signs or markings giving notice thereof are erected.
