One-hour paid parking zones

This section creates one-hour parking meter zones in certain areas. Drivers must pay ten cents per hour to park in these zones. The zones are located in Hāmākua, North Hilo, South Hilo, Ka‘ū, Kohala, Kona, and Puna.

1 hour parking meter zones. One hour parking meter zones are established upon those streets or portions of streets described in this schedule upon which the parking of vehicles shall be regulated by parking meters at the rate of ten cents per hour: (a) Hāmākua (b) North Hilo (c) South Hilo (d) Ka‘ū (e) Kohala (f) Kona (g) Puna (1996, ord 96-163, sec 2; am, 2000, ord 00-89, sec 2; am 2002, ord 02-57, sec 6.)24- 290
