Truck routes. When properly sign posted, the following private streets or portions of private streets are designated as truck routes: (a) Hāmākua (b) North Hilo 24A-105 (c) South Hilo (d) Ka‘ū Hawaiian Ocean View Estates Subdivision. Any vehicle with a gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) of more than ten thousand pounds shall be restricted to the following street segments, until that vehicle reaches the intersection with the nearest subdivision road it can use to make a local delivery: • Aloha Boulevard from Highway 11 to its intersection with Marlin Boulevard. • Marlin Boulevard from its intersection with Aloha Boulevard to its intersection with Kailua Boulevard. • Kailua Boulevard from its intersection with Marlin Boulevard to its intersection with King Kamehameha Boulevard. • King Kamehameha Boulevard from its intersection with Kailua Boulevard to its intersection with Highway 11.
